If you’re looking for one of the more glamorous places to visit, try The Beverly Hills Hotel at 9641 Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The Beverly Hills Hotel is also known as the Pink Palace due to its uniquely designed architecture that features light pink and green colors. The hotel has a rich history and has hosted the likes of Marilyn Monroe who famously lived here for 3 months. Although the prices of the rooms are outrageously priced, we've got some good news!
You can actually still experience the Pink Palace without breaking the bank by visiting the The Beverly Hills Hotel Cabana Cafe. It is a great place to make a brunch reservation from 9 am to 6 pm. You can also take pics for your instagram and have a pink polished afternoon!
Just a few blocks from the Paul Smith wall, The Hart and The Hunter at 7950 Melrose Avenue has a wooden facade that doesn’t give much away. Inside, the bar area is very tight and super pink, with pink floors, walls, and doors, and even pink decorations. This place shows that the best photo spots actually might be the most nondescript from the street. You’ll want to order a few mocktails, get settled, and let the room do the work for you.
For a spot that is a little more art-centric, ACE Gallery Los Angeles at 5514 Wilshire Boulevard gives a more contemporary option to the city’s more popular museums. While the pink wall that is lit up might be good for a couple pictures, the gallery’s a bit more modern than that, and you’ll be happy you visited the gallery if you came to look and not just to strike a pose.
Hauser & Wirth at 901 East 3rd Street takes the search into the Arts District. This Los Angeles gallery, set in an industrial-style space, has changing exhibitions, and some of the most notable include rooms of pink walls and hanging chandeliers by Jason Rhoades. Looping words added commentary and a cultural dimension to the installation beyond a colorful set piece.
To wrap things up, we have a sweet stop right down at the corner from the BTS pop up, the Bumsan Organic Milk Bar.
