Griffith Park: Cathy’s Corner
Covering 1,741.5 hectares, Griffith Park is the 11th-largest municipally owned park in the United States.
One of La La Land’s most iconic moments is Mia and Sebastian dancing on a hillside with Los Angeles spread below them. That elegant scene was filmed at Cathy’s Corner on Mount Hollywood Drive in Griffith Park.

This is where the film’s leads dance through “A Lovely Night,” while the unforgettable celestial dance sequence takes place at the park’s observatory. Griffith Park also contains an observatory, a zoo, the Autry National Center, and a Victorian-style station building. The Lighthouse Café
The Lighthouse Café in Hermosa Beach has hosted jazz performances since May 1949. Jazz greats including Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Art Blakey, and Cannonball Adderley have performed here. It is the jazz bar Mia and Sebastian repeatedly visit after they begin dating. In addition to jazz, the place features reggae and rock music.
The Lighthouse Cafe

Colorado Street Bridge
The beautifully designed bridge that Mia and Sebastian cross hand in hand as their relationship develops is the Colorado Street Bridge. It is one of the oldest concrete bridges in the area and serves as a vital connection between Los Angeles and Old Pasadena. When it was completed in 1913, the Colorado Street Bridge held the record of being the highest concrete bridge in the world. Its enormous arches stretch up to 150 feet. ANGEL'S FLIGHT RAILWAY
The well-known Angel's Flight Railway in Downtown Los Angeles can be seen in a montage where Mia and Sebastian are riding on it.
Angels Flight has been in operation since 1901 and has a distance of only 99 meters, making it the shortest funicular railway in the world!
Although the Bunker Hill railway has been closed since 2013, the film crew was able to capture some images on Angel's Flight before they temporarily closed the line for filming. At that time, the operating committee of Angel's Flight was trying to restore to operating status, hoping that a classic movie moment would happen.

It defies conventional architecture and remains well worth seeing.\n\nSmoke House Restaurant\n \nMia and Sebastian’s first encounter actually takes place at Smoke House Restaurant, just across the street from Warner Bros. Studios. Because of its location, it has been a favorite of Hollywood stars, directors, and producers, and is a good pick for anyone wanting to see the industry up close.
Legendary steakhouse also has a nightclub, where Sebastian plays holiday music for the movie.
The Watts Towers site is the site of many events, including the annual Drum Festival and Jazz Festival.

Mia's workplace café is located inside Warner Bros. Studios, the dream factory. It's the studio that so many aspiring performers look at from the outside.
